34.23 Foot and Mouth Disease

Rinderpest Foot and Mouth Disease. Contagious Pleuro Pneumonia of Cattle. These disorders, while belonging to the class of maladies now being discussed, need receive no special descriptions, as those of them that have at any previous time been present in the United States have been thoroughly stamped out, and measures are maintained, under the supervision of the general government, which will make their reinvasion of this country extremely improbable.
